Fortcryl 8230 is recommended for the manufacture of compounds for finishing textiles in a wide range of applications. The film obtained by evaporation of the water of the FCY 8230 is partially reticent. By heat treatment during drying or after drying (temperature between 120 and 140° C), the crosslinking reaction is optimized. To accelerate this crosslinking reaction, catalysts such as ammonium nitrate, maleic acid or phosphoric acid can always be diluted in water. An amount of about 1% of the catalyst (crosslinking accelerator) for synthetic material is sufficient in most cases. The total crosslinking of the FCY 8230 makes its film insoluble in water and most solvents PACKAGING: Supplied in internally protected barrels and drums with polyethylene bag or containers.
