FORTCRYL 7100

  • Description

The Fortcryl 7100 is mainly used in the manufacture of paints for aqueous base road demarcation. It offers advantages such as abrasion resistance, vehicular/pedestrian traffic, as well as fast drying at room temperature with a high resistance to aging and sunlight action.

Due to its high adsorption capacity of fillers and pigments, Fortcryl 7100 is suitable for the formulation of paints with high solids content and low viscosity. The Fortcryl 7100 does not contain film-only aids, i.e. no coalescing or plasticizer is added, but its minimum film formation temperature (TMFF) allows the ink formulated with Fortcryl 7100 to form film easily under normal application conditions. This ensures excellent resistance to friction with low tendency to dirt. If it is necessary to increase the adhesion of the paint on difficult surfaces, we recommend adding small amounts of siloxanes recommended for this purpose. The Fortcryl 7100 is compatible with the associative acrylic thickeners of the Oswaldo Cruz line, as well as with most thickeners used by the market, both acrylic and urethane base. We recommend testing before use, as these products usually increase the drying time of paints.
