The Fortcryl 4402 is indicated as a modifier of hydraulic systems especially in mixtures with cement. The Fortcryl 4402 gives the sand/cement and water mixture excellent fluidity, allowing great water savings, substantially improving the quality of the final product. By decreasing the amount of water required for good fluidity, Fortcryl 4402 promotes in these hydraulic systems (after fully cured) an excellent increase in bending resistance. To achieve these good properties, in these hydraulic systems it is recommended to use ca 15% or more of the Fortcryl 4402 (dry over dry) in relation to the weight of the cement used in the mixture.
These hydraulic systems with the use of Fortcryl 4402 after fully cured (after 28 days), also have excellent water resistance. Fortcryl 4402 has a low foaming trend, however, if necessary we recommend the use of an appropriate defoamer in amounts smaller than 1%.
