FORTCRYL 4000

• Description

  Fortcryl 4000 is used in the preparation of adhesive mortars of two components, as well as in the formulation of flexible adhesive coatings. Its film is flexible, has excellent water resistance and has good stability to aging and light. We do not recommend the use of plasticizers, as the Fortcryl 4000 already has a very elastic film with low water absorption. Fortcryl 4000 has good compatibility with the associative acrylic thickeners of the Oswaldo Cruz line, but we recommend testing the amount and type of thickener in each formulation before use, because the presence of any thickener on the market in the formulations can increase water absorption. Other common thickeners such as CMC (carboxymethylcellulose) and HEC (hydroxymethylcellulose) can cause strong fluidity losses in cement mixtures, as well as changes in mortar water resistance after drying.   Supplied in internally protected barrels and drums with polyethylene bag or containers.

  Acrylic copolymer – styrene in aqueous dispersion free of solvents and plasticizers.
